All current service is for outdoor areas. No indoor seating is available at this time. For the safety of our staff and customers, during severe weather events such as thunderstorms our outdoor sales tent will close temporarily until the passing of such storms. We kindly ask our patrons to seek shelter in their cars. There are no indoor waiting areas.
The maximum group size (including children) is 8. We do not allow groups larger than 8. Children must remain with an adult.
Fully vaccinated guests and employees are not required to wear masks. We ask all non vaccinated guests to wear a mask for your own protection. This includes all individuals in the Commonwealth aged 5 to 12 who should cover their mouth and nose with a mask in accordance with the CDC guidance.
Passenger vans, RVs, large limos and buses are not allowed on our property. Our parking lot is small and we do not have large spaces for you to turn around.
Outside alcohol is not allowed on our property. Only Jefferson Vineyards wines are allowed to be consumed on our property.
We welcome well behaved leashed dogs.
When bad weather threatens, please wait in your vehicle until the rain passes. There are no indoor waiting areas.
Bottled water is available for sale. No refills are allowed at this time.
OWNERS and MANAGERS reserve the right to remove anyone who does not adhere to these policies, or if we observe guests who are unwell. If you feel you have COVID symptoms please be responsible and stay home. We really appreciate your help in ensuring we all can enjoy these beautiful grounds together. Photography Sessions Policy
Photography sessions are now allowed on days we are closed to the public with advance written agreement, confirmed via e-mail. Exclusive access to Jefferson Vineyards’ grounds is allowed under the below conditions:
- A minimum wine purchase worth $250 (before tax and after discounts). This purchase can be made through our online store prior to the photography date, and made available as a curbside pickup.
- Two hour time slots available Monday & Tuesdays during the hours of 11am – 6 pm (after October; 11am - 5pm). Photography is not allowed on days we are open to the public.
- Gates will be opened and closed for your arrival.
- A map of permitted areas will be emailed to you along with your confirmation. These areas will include the two fields adjacent to our tasting room, as well as the Church Vineyard if it is available.
- All Jefferson Vineyards buildings will be closed with the exception of access to our sanitized restrooms.

Returns & Cancellations
By law, we can only accept returns on wines that are flawed/corked. We ask that you return the unfinished portion of the original bottle for replacement. Wine that has been ordered in error cannot be returned, nor wine that has been damaged due to adverse weather during transportation. Once the wine is received we will refund your credit card account for the cost of the wine less shipping and handling. If the original shipment was damaged or flawed you will receive a full refund, including shipping and handling charges.
